Pink Ribbon Women Awareness Seminar on breast cancer was organized 0n 22nd November, 2022 by Peace Center on International day of PINKRIBBON. The Head Nurses and Staff of Hameed Latif Hospital Lahore participated and She gave presentations and addressed the audience about the breast cancer and how to ensure regular check-ups to decrease the risk of getting this disease.
PINKRIBBON Day celebrated for women at Peace Center to awareness to women and girls about the Breast cancer and how to see the symptoms and get timely treat to treat this life-threatening cancer. Doctors and nurses from Hamid Latif Hospital gave presentations on the Celebration of Pink Ribbon Day and Breast Cancer.
Madam Neelum Nisari Program Manager of Peace Center shared the information on various risk factors concerning breast cancer to the audience. She said that the incidence of breast cancer in Pakistan has risen alarmingly, with one in nine women in the country suffering from this fatal disease. Every year, 45,000 women die of breast cancer. Timely diagnosis can save 99% of lives. She said that the number of breast cancer cases in women is increasing due to lack of awareness and timely diagnosis. Every woman should have her breasts checked every three months. The respected guests have discussed the importance of identifying, preventing, and treatment of Breast Cancer. The specialists examined and taught the ladies about the disease and provide awareness to achieve a healthy life. Through this Seminar at Peace Center on Pink Ribbon women awareness seminar on breast cancer for young girls and women. Fr.
