We are experiencing difficult time due to COVID-19 pandemic, people are frustrated due to; unemployment, inflation, helplessness, and starvation. Along with raising awareness and promotion of peace and interfaith harmony, URI Pakistan and APPNA organizations collaborate & arranged grocery packs for 51 deserving families, living in a marginalized area of Sundar, district Lahore, Pakistan. The distribution of grocery packs done on 29th August, 2020. Fr. Dr. James Channan OP Regional Coordinator URI Asia-Pakistan Region and Director Peace Center, Ms Neelam Nisari URI CC Coordinator Golden Star & Program Manager Peace Center, Mr. Faisal Ilyas URI CC Coordinator Peace Hope Pakistan & Executive Secretary Peace Center and Mr. Samson Sarfraz distributed the grocery packs to the most deserving families.
They were very happy and thankful after receiving a kind help in the time of need. We also pay our gratitude’s to our benefactors and supports for moral and financial support. Thank you very much!
